Mr. Rajat Agarwal, Executive Director Education - B.Sc., USA

He is a graduate with a science degree in Business Management with a double concentration in Management & Economics. He has prior experience in working with a management consulting firm in Boston, US and in this capacity has worked with several multinational organization in helping them enhance their organizational effectiveness.

Dr. Bansilal Amla, Independent Director Education - M.S., Ph.D

Brief profile covering experience, achievements Dr. B.L. Amla, has completed his M.S from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York and has done Ph.D. with specialization of Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Food Engineering, and Nutrition from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He joined the Board in 1991. Dr. Amla has had a brilliant academic career. He started his career as Research Instructor to University of Massachusetts in 1955. Later he served in various capacities and had been designated as Asst. Professor before he joined as Pool Officer in CSIR, New Delhi. He worked for Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore in various positions like Director, Acting Director and Chairman, Industrial Research Consultancy and Experiment stations. He also served as Senior Advisor (Food Technologist) for World Bank between 1978 and 1982. He was also the Director in Mysore Fruit Canning Products, Bangalore and Managing Director in Amco Cold Storage.

Mr. Prabir Chakravarti, Independent Director Education - B.A (Hons.), M.A - Economics, L.L.B., M.B.A., Belfast, UK

Brief profile covering experience, achievements Shri Prabir Chakravarti, is B.A. (Hons), M.A. (ECO), L.L.B. (Calcutta University). M.B.A (Queens University, Belfast, U.K.). He has wide experience in business and administration. He has been the leader of the Employers Delegation to International Labor Organization (Geneva) during 1995-1996 and Employers Representative in the Bipartite Committee of Industrial Relations set up by Ministry of Labor, 1996-97 and has been member of various Standing Committees established by Ministry of Labor. Shri Chakravarti has also attended different meetings of International Labor Organization as leader of Employers Delegation in India and abroad. He served as President of many Clubs & Organizations like all India Organization of Employers, Bharat Chamber of Commerce, Calcutta Club Ltd and Rotary Club of Calcutta. He has been immediate past District Governor of Rotary Club International. He is a Director at many reputed Companies which includes Reliance Jute Mills.
